Janet Cooper Haas

Janet Cooper Haas, a former Charlotte Observer columnist, enjoys telling inspiring stories of people and nonprofit organizations making a difference in her community. She writes regularly for several print publications.

In partnership with dynamic Web and graphic designers, Janet also helps businesses market themselves by creating innovative content for their Web sites and promotional materials, in addition to developing strategic communication plans to maximize exposure and increase profits. With the goal of bringing local businesses and community together, she produces custom cause-marketing campaigns that are both cost effective and results driven.

In her ongoing partnership with Birthday Blessings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that celebrates the lives of homeless children, Janet spearheads the communications and community affairs arm of the grassroots organization.

Janet is married, and she and her husband reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their two young sons.
